Looked to see what they were photographing and saw this extremely tall man next to what seem like 3 very short men (one was a camera man). Asked who he was, and was told that he was the tallest man in the world! I presume the three men with him were actually normal height but from across the road, he made them seem like very small people! By the time I tried to take a photo, he had gotten into his car! Totally made my day!

I have had to watch her have a horrible year this year. Her younger brother died suddenly in February, at the age of 35. It has broken her heart and I've had to watch her grieve deeply with every single passing day. But even still, she gets up and serves the public each day with a warm smile and giving heart. She is a tireless worker and an amazing mother to her three boys. She would give them the world if she could afford to. She is present for every soccer game, football practice, fundraiser, school talent show, you name it. (when I say "present" I don't mean on her smart phone, I mean actually in the moment) She celebrates every accomplishment her family makes no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to anyone else. She treats her husband like a king and never thinks about what is in it for her or when she will get some time to herself. Her family means everything to her. I would love to see this great friend of mine enjoy something for herself for once, without worrying how long it's going to take or how much it's going to cost (or how many calories it has). I would love to give her something that tells her she is the sweetest, most wonderful example of a mother that I know of. And that I am so proud to call her my friend. Something that truly says Happy Mother's Day.

My mom is most deserving of this prize because she has been taking care of her little brother since…Read More he was in a head on collision and has brain damage since he was in his 20s and he's in his 50s now. Also, she has been driving 5 hours to get my niece (her granddaughter) every other weekend since my niece was born and she is now 14. These Are just some of the things she does the list goes on and on! She never gets to go anywhere or do a urging for herself! She is the most deserving woman I know!
