Library Volunteers Say No to Cell Tower on Carmel Valley Library

AT&T is asking permission to place a cell tower on the roof of the Carmel Valley Library. That has library volunteers concerned.

Concern over the impact a cell tower would have on the local library is prompting members of the Volunteers and Friends of San Diego's Carmel Valley Public Library to encourage attendance to a Jan. 28 community meeting on the issue.

Here is the announcement the group posted on Facebook:

Not on my library, please!" AT&T is proposing a cell phone tower on the roof of the Carmel Valley Library. The city of San Diego would receive some amount of money that would go to the general fund. There is a community meeting about this on Tuesday, January 28 at 6:30pm in the community room at the library.
