Burglars Hit Del Mar Union School District Again, Leave Empty-Handed

Robbers hit Del Mar Heights Schools on Tuesday. It's the sixth school robbery in North County in the last six weeks.

Robbers broke into yet another school in North County this week, but left empty-handed.

NBC 7 reported burglars broke into Del Mar Heights School on Boquita Drive around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday and damaged the glass door to the school’s computer lab. However, because newly acquired computers were not out, burglars left without the electronics, the report said.

This is the sixth burglary in North County in the past six weeks, including three in the Del Mar Union School District. On July 8 robbers broke into Ocean Air School and on July 30 Sage Canyon School.
