Robert Irish died Oct. 2, according to a U-T San Diego obituary.
He was 65.
Irish was a developer responsible for building homes in Del Mar and Cardiff. He also developed the Beachwalk Retail Center, according to the newspaper.
The Del Mar resident also enjoyed traveling, according to the newspaper.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar, according to the newspaper.
