Kendrick Lamar Sells Out Show in Del Mar

The “hottest MC in the game” according to MTV, Kendrick Lamar will perform on the Heineken Grandstand Stage at the San Diego County Fair on Friday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Lamar cut his teeth working with rappers such as Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Drake and Lil Wayne before releasing his first album, Section.80, in 2011.

The Compton native, whose influences range from 2Pac to Jay-Z, has experienced an increase in popularity thanks to widespread play of recent hit Poetic Justice and his raw, personal lyrics about growing up on the streets.

Tickets are sold out to see this rising-star rapper’s show.
