City Kids-Beach Kids Closing in Del Mar Highlands
The children's clothing retailer will close at the end of September.
After more than 30 years of selling children's clothing, Beach Kids-City Kids will close its doors in Carmel Valley. Owners Lynn and Phil Ryan said they would close the store in Del Mar Highlands Town Center at the end of September.
The Ryans said it was recently notified that Del Mar Highlands Town Center would not renew their lease when it is up for renewal in October.
"It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long time loyal shoppers and the best employees," said Lynn Ryan in an announcement. "We are so grateful to our customers for sharing their families and friends with us for so many years."
Beach Kids-City Kids closed a retail store in Encinitas in 2011 after not being able to secure a lease without an increase.
