The well-spoken redhead explained how she landed this role.

“We found an agent last summer and I’ve just been really lucky since then,” she explained.

Francesca, who doesn’t have a dog of her own, said she enjoys acting so much that doesn’t really mind the commute from Carlsbad to Los Angeles to film each week.

“I love it and I would love to make a living at it because it is so much fun,” she said.

Look for Francesca in Dog with a Blog on the Disney Channel. The show airs on Sundays, but you can catch up on episodes this week on Monday at 7 and 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Friday at 10 p.m.

Note that Common Sense Media said the following about the show, “There are plenty of heartwarming messages about family ties and the bonds between people and their pets, accentuated here because viewers get to hear Stan's thoughts as well. Expect some mild teen rebellion with little consequence, bickering between step-siblings, and a lot of humor at the expense of the parents' naivety to their kids' actions... and their dog's ability to talk.”
