Del Mar's Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary raised about $9,500 at its fundraiser Saturday night, according to the North County Times.
The funds raised from the event—which attracted about 150 guests including Gina Seau and titled “Tropical Sunset Evening with the Birds"—will go toward maintaining the sanctuary that allows the public to interact with the rescued birds.
